one note screen clipping tool

I am new to using one note. When I try to use the screen clipping tool from
one note no image is pasted into the workbook. The image is saved to the
clip board and can be pasted into other programs such as word or powerpoint
but the image does not appear in one note. Only text as follows
"Screen clipping taken: 2/7/2008, 3:06 PM"
If the clipping was from a web page then a source url is also added but
again, no image.
What needs to be done?

What is your default paste set at? In other words, when you paste something
else in, what is checked on the paste flag? I seem to remember that if your
default paste is text, you will get something like this.

I'm a different guy with the same problem. If I go into another app, I can
paste whatever was cut using OneNote, but it will not paste into OneNote no
matter what. I have tried all of the screen clipping options to no avail.

I never get the paste option box on the OneNote page either.

I have the same problem, even posted my own thread (sorry about the
duplicate).
If you follow the path Tools|Options|Editing, there is a "Show Paste
Options Button" checkbox, and you can indeed get a paste options box
whenever you paste something. However, this has no bearing on the screen
clipping issue... interestingly enough, whenever I paste text with the
option of "Paste as Picture", the text disappears.
Anyone know how to solve the screen clipping issue?
