I have a project with 40 team members with a duration of 2
years. The project will be broken into multiple subteams
handling different functional areas of the project during
the duration. Each subteam will be responsible for the
detail tasks in their area. However, I need to be able to
report and assess project process and costs for the entire
project. Can anyone advise pros and cons of using one big
project - reassigning the tasks to different managers -
versus having multiple plans and bringing them together in
a master project or server view or report? My concerns
with one project is size as well as conflict when trying
to get updates done the same time each week, accessing the
same file. with the multi project approach, how good can
we get the views and reports? Thanks
