one task is red

I have 6 tasks linked together, (one of these has a deadline).
These 6 are followed by a gap created by a SNET constraint on the 7th task.
The critical path is showing as starting from the 7th task. When I enter
actual data in the tracking table for one of the non critical tasks, (the one
with the deadline)… the task shows shows as red in the tracking gantt.

Can you explain why is does this when the tasks around it are still blue ?

Tasks with a finish date equal to or greater to the deadline have 0 or less
"total slack". Typically tasks with 0 total slack are considered to be
"critical" by project and are colored red. Removing or changing the deadline
will change this.
