Onenote sp1 installation error: Cannot find SKU1A1.CAB
I could not find the file in my original CD as well. Any idea?

I have a Toshiba Laptop that had Onenote pre-installed and ran into the same
problem when I tried to install the sp1 file.

I found some info in this forum... that led me to a microsoft info page at:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[ln];875556

On one of the recovery cds... (which provide no method for extracting
anything from them) there was a licence key for Onenote. I uninstalled
Onenote from the Laptop... downloaded and installed the Trial version from
the listed link... then input my key instead of the trial key... and
"voila"... Onenote - already patched to sp1. Yay!

I managed to find the file in the Toshiba recovery CD.
Under COMPS\MICROSOFT OFFICE ONENOTE 20030\MANUAL, i use winzip to open the
exe file and extract the SKU1A1.CAB. Thanks.

If you are using a recovery disc from your computer manufacturer i
doesn't actually contain any of the cabs but rather an image of th
programs. I was told by Toshiba to call Microsoft to get a disc.
