Cannot install SP2 for OneNote 2003

I cannot install the SP2 for OneNote 2003. It halts when it cannot find
SKU1A1.CAB.

Normally, I would install the original CD, but in my case, OneNote was
preinstalled on my Toshiba Notebook along with Windows XP when I bought it. I
am running MS Office 2000, and put that CD into the machine to install the
other MS Office updates, but obviously, the source for OneNote 2003 is not on
that CD! And since it was a preloaded system (from Future Shop), I do not
have access to the original source CD. I only have the emergency recovery CD,
which is packaged in such a manner that the SKU1A1.CAB is not available. (I
think these recovery CDs are made with Norton Ghost or something similar)

I find it odd, because I have installed updates to OneNote before (I am
currently at SP1) and have not had this problem before.

Anyone know how I can work around this problem?

I managed to find the original source for OneNote on my Toshiba recovery CD,
and unzipped it to my hard drive. Then attempted the SP2 update again, this
time pointing it to the fold that contained the CAB file it was looking for.
All seemd to go ok, with the exception of one error:

Error 1406. Setup cannot write the value Personal to the registry key
\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ShellFolders.
Verify that you have sufficient permissions to access the registry or
contact your computer manufacturer's product suppport for assistance.

I retried several times, but the error persisted. Finally, I clicked on
IGNORE and it continued to a 'successful' completion. Not sure what the
registry entry was for, but looks like it installed ok.

Thanks for your help!!

Here is the *real* answer to this question that everyone is looking for:

Missing sku1a1.cab file

1) Get your OneNote product key off your computer.

There is a little free program that will do this for you here:

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/produkey.zip

2) Uninstall OneNote

3) Download the trial version of OneNote here:

http://www.microsoft.com/office/onenote/prodinfo/trialoffer.mspx

4) Install the trial version and enter your product key when prompted

5) Check "install updates" at the end of the installation process and it
will install SP2 and put you back where you were before the sku1a1.cab file
disappeared.
