Rainald: I appreciate all your help...I've gotten the
PowerToy...and it worked really well once. Unfortunately, I had to
reset the phone and reinstall everything...
If it was a hard reset, did you re-Install ON Mobile again?
now the PowerToy no longer works. It appears in the PC version
of ON and when I click
"copy to device", it asks me if I want to overwrite the file.
The "file"?
Do you mean the "Page"?
Or possibly "Section?
Further, I can't find where it is trying to save the file...I look
in apps, microsoft, onenote an d don't see it.
As before:
Only pages in the "OneNote Mobile" notebook's section with the name of
the mobile device are synched.
What the PowerToys does is just copying the selected page there.
Within Notes, I see
the ON Mobile notebook with the Tom Smartphone file, but the only
thing in it is the default "Getting Started" file that comes with
the ON Mobile.
Do I need to reinstall the PowerToy?
Sorry, I can not say.
From what you report, I assume that it might have to do with the hard
reset and the re-install.
I had a similar thing with my PDA. After a hard-reset and a new install
I had *two* sections in the "OneNote Mobile" notebook.
If so, is there a removal step in ON that I should take first?
You may deactivate the Add-in first.
And close ON prior to uninstalling and re-installing.

P.S. If this does not help, open a new thread with the PowerToy in the
subject. Hopefully John Guinn (you seems to be the PowerToys specialist)
might see it and help you further.
