Only one Option in Picture editor -- how can I add other options?

In options, I tried to change picture editor, but the dropdown only showed
Microsoft Word as a choice. How can I add other choices?

Hi Sandi,

In Office 2003 there is no longer the '2nd choice' of
MS Office Photo Editor (discontinued). Word has, unfortunately,
never allowed 'hooks' into other editors to be used as the default.
Embedded objects can call their creating apps, but not inserted graphics.
Basic approach is to create the final graphic in an outside app
before inserting the graphic into a Word document.
