Open a Publisher document on a different version?

How can I open a Publisher document created on a different version from my
own?
I'm using MS 2000 SP-3
I can't tell what version the document I want to open was made in.

Have your sender save the file as a 2000 Publisher file and re-send it to you. If
that is not an option, send the file to me and I will save it as a 2000 file for you.
If you think the file is a 2000 document and you have Norton, disable "script
blocking" and try opening it again.
Remove "my' to reply...
