OPEN FILE FROM DIFFERNET VERSION

Can anyone tell me is it is possible to open a Publisher file from a
differnet verison. We had an employee do a Brochure for our practice on
Publisher at home and save it onto cd. When I try to open it tells me that
Publisher cannot open a file from a different version!!!! Any help anyone
could give me would be greatly appreciated.

If you have Publisher 2002 or 03 you should be able to open the file. Copy it to
your hard drive and try again. If you have Norton, disable script blocking and
in Norton options, misc., disable Office plug-in. If you have an older version
of Publisher, have your employee save as... it in your version.

The file on CD will be Read Only and must be copied to your Hard drive
and the attributes changed to Read/Write before you can do any thing.
