I create and save documents, then when I try to reopen them, I get a message "The file xxx is not available." Any ideas?

By the way, I'm using a newly installed Office 2003 using XP Home Edition 2002, SP1.

The Norton AntiVirus Office Plug-in is enabled on my PC. Haven't noticed any
problems: Winword 2003 and XP home. Is plug-in problematic? Should we all
disable the plug-in? Thanks.

It doesn't do anything useful, its removal will not impair security and its
presence causes all kinds of problems.
