If you are talking about PowerPoint 97, you can open a presentation that was
created in PowerPoint 2002. It won't "lose" any data, but there are animations
and transitions that may be ignored and won't work. You would be much better
off downloading the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer and installing it. That way you'll
