open with all tasks showing

one of my project file opens with only the subtasks
showing, I want it to automatically open with all tasks
showing like the other files I have. How do I reset it?

ano,
I assume you have already fully "exploded" the file to show all lines.
Given that, my guess is that a filter other than "all tasks" is applied
to the view the file is opened with. You can check that by going to
View/More Views and hitting "edit". In the view definition window, the
filter should say, "all tasks". If it doesn't, change it, then hit "ok"
and "apply". When the file is saved, the revised view will be saved with
the file such that the next time it is opened, you will see all task
lines.
