I am fairly new to Word. How can I open a word document with variables (i.e.
a name & address) already inserted from an external (ODBC) data source. In
other words, a user takes an option from an application which puts a single
address into the external data source, the external application then needs to
invoke word and display a document withe the address details already
displayed. The user then has the opportunity to add his own details to the
document and then print and save it. Sory if this seems a bit basic..
