opening attachments...again outlook xp

I have searched the last several days of messages to see
how I can open attachments that outlook blocks. My last
messages don't seem to be posted here. Others are similar
but there has been no resolution that I can see. I
visited slipstick, I must be overlooking where they can
help. I use access attachments all the time as well as
others. There must be a way to override this, or do I
have to return office XP to Microsoft for a refund?
