Opening MSP 2003 in MSP 2000

Arbab Hussain

I am having difficulties in opening a MSP 2003 file in MSP 2000. The MSP 2003
file has never worked in MSP 2000 but it works fine is MSP 2003.

I have given up on getting the 2003 file to open up in 2000.

Does anyone know of any good outputs I could do from MSP 2003. I need the
tasks and milestones to be clearly identifiable and easy to digest.

Thanks.

Kind Regards
Arbab Hussain

Hello Arbab Hussain,

You could try Save As Web Page to produce a web page. Other options
might be to save the Gantt view with summary tasks collapsed as
needed. Give us some more guidance about what you mean by "good
outputs" and we'll try to expand on the options a bit more.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hello Arbab Hussain,

Saving as a web page is pretty straight forward. See File > Save as
Web page. When given an option about using an existing map or
creating a new one, choose use an existing map. On the page where
you select which map, choose "Export to HTML using Standard
Template". As the wizard progresses you can select which fields you
wish to export for task, resource, and assignment data. If you
experiment by running wizard and seeing the output, you' be able to
better tailor the export map to your needs.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
