Opening Publisher 2000 Documents in 2002

I have many documents saved as Publisher 2000, and were done using Publisher
2000. They have a variety of custom spacing in between the photographs &
text (adjusting the wrapping) and also sometimes wordart. I have a problem
with some of the margins & wordart changing when I open the 2000 document in
a newer 2002 version.

Any suggestions on fixing this problem?

Thanks,

Kevin

The WordArt is a known issue, which can be worked around using a registry
patch at
http://office.microsoft.com/assistance/preview.aspx?AssetID=HA010773021033&CTT=98
This converts the WordArt to an image, which then cannot be edited. For the
WordArt to become editable, you will have to recreate it in the new-style
WordArt.

Other types of formatting are known to change slightly, but there is little
you can do about that.
