Opening Secured Database

Hello,

I have inherited a database which was created by an employee who is no
longer here. The database opens, after a user signs in, with a form that
allows users to update or view info.

I need to add some other users to the database but all the menus etc are
locked out.

No one can find the original database.

Is there a way to get to the backend of the database.

"backend" refers to a database file where your tables live.

To display the menus, try holding the "shift" key after you type in your
password. Hold dow the "Shift" key as you click the "OK" button to sign in.

Hello Rick,
I have another issue, once I open a database I get a logon screen. I enter
the user id and password and then I get another screen to enter a database
password --which I don't have. How can get into the database without the
database password?
