Opening Word without blank document

D

Don

This is such a simple question, but I have spent about an hour
searching, including browsing through the MVP FAQ. How do I get Word
2000 to open without any document--blank or otherwise. I assume it
has something to do with the shortcut properties, but the answer is
not obvious--at least to me. Thanks in advance.

Yep, add the /n switch to open without a document. See Word's Help topic
"Control what happens when you start Word" and/or
