Operation failed when send/receive

XP user: outlook 2002
one exchange account and one pop3 account
can send/receive email both internally and externally on
both accounts
Just has this aggrevating "Operation Failed" error
message pop up whenever she clicks send/receive. How do
I get rid of it?
