order of information

I am using a custom navigation bar on my website and am trying to place a
filled box around it. However, when I preview in multiple web browsers the
filled box around the navigation bar does not appear. Does this have
something to do with the ORDER function? I tried to play around with the
order but I can't seem to get it right. What do I need to do?
Thanks for your help.

I think I figured it out, although I can't find any consistency between the
pages. I am using a disk-based website and am not ready to post the site
yet. I will respond again when I post.
Thanks

thanks for your help, I decided to use a table nstead of the navigation bar
to avoid the order issue and I think it works better anyway so i can have the
drop-down menus. You can check the site out at yvlt.org. I would love any
comments you have as well.

thanks again

I'm not crazy about it. You have used many instances of WordArt, which are
IE only, so those instances do not appear in other browsers.

Because of that, your site is not spiderable by search engines, as shown
here -

http://www.gritechnologies.com/tools/spider.go?q=http://www.yvlt.org/

The predictor thinks your site contains only two pages - the splash and the
welcome page. None of the other links are found.

In addition, because you have put your content into images, you lose much of
the page rank impact of that content and of the semantic markup that would
go with it.

Stylistically, it's OK, but under the hood is not as good. Sorry....
