OS ME no longer supported?

Hi - I know of someone who has a laptop running on ME.
They do not have PowerPoint installed and would like to
get it. They do have an older version of Word and Excel
on the machine.

The question is -- can this person get PowerPoint at
all? I didn't see where PowerPoint 2003 is supported on
ME, and I also didn't see where they could get a 2002
Office upgrade.

Are they SOL?

Office 2003 requires Windows 2000 SP3 or Windows XP. Your friend can try to
find a copy of PowerPoint 2002 or Office XP on eBay or other online sources,
or the other option would be to upgrade to Windows XP, which does support
Office 2003.
