Out of Memory?

I have Word XP on XP Home w/512 MG of RAM. When working on large documents -- 5-8MG, I often get low-memory messages. How can I increse the memory allowed to the application?

1.5 times the installed RAM is 784, not 1.5. If you mean 3x the installed
RAM, then your answer is correct.

| You need to adjust your page file. As you have 512MB RAM you should
| set your swap file to 1.5GB (1.5x your total RAM).
