Outlook 2000 asking for Username, Password, and Domain Name

I have a client that has an Exchange 2000 box on Windows
2000 server. One of the clients' Outlook 2000 keeps poping
up and asking for the username, password, and the domain.
Even though we have put the correct information in the
fields it comes back with an error stating that the wrong
credentials have been supplied. I have looked through the
knowledge base and found a few solutions, but they still
have not fixed the problem. I have tried editing the
registry per Microsoft's suggestions and it still happens.
This dialog box pops up after a long period of time but
not necessarily when the computer has been idle. If anyone
has an idea of how to fix this I would greatly appreciate
it. I have been working on this problem for about a month
now.

Thank you,
Rod.

I assume this user has properly authenticated to the PDC on the network
before starting the client. If not, then you will get this issue most of the
time. To insure, have the user log off, reboot the system and then log back
in fresh.

Thank you so much!! I will be back if that doesn't work, but that was my
exact error I am getting.

Thanks,
Rod.
