Outlook 2000 Contacts Hanging

B

Brett

OS = XP Pro, with Office 2000 installed. While trying to add a new
contact, I am able to enter the new contact's name, and then when I
try to add their phone number ( by clicking in the field ) it
hangs.... My permissions are set to administrative. I have tried
backing up the contacts to a .pst, deleting the contacts and then
resotring them with no luck.

I have tried researching this same issue without any results...

My next step is to totally remove Outlook 2000 however, I do need the
instructions to remove it from the Registry....

Any help you could provide, would be greatly appreciated!!

Do you get an error message when this happens? Have you tried renaming
frmcache.dat to .old and then reopen Outlook?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Brett asked:
