Outlook 2000 Folder Size Problem

R

Rob

I've created personal folders and rules for incoming
mail. I've also deleted mail from Sent, Deleted Items,
Etc. I think the problem is somewhere else...I checked
the Folder Size for all of the folders under
Outlook Today and the Total Size (Fld+SubFld): is 27900K.
However, in the detail below, it does not add up to
27900K (only about 1200K). Could this be some kind of
registry issue?

I can't send email because the exchange server tells me
that my box is full.

Can anyone help with this?

Hi Rob,
I take it that you are on an exchange server.
Try the following:
1: Check your sent items - I think that you probably have
a few mails there. Delete those that aren't necessary and
save those that are.
2: Empty your deleted items
3: Organise your inbox:
Create pst folders - (If you receive a lot of mails from
the same person or about the same subject create a
personal folder
Add rules - mails can be automatically forwarded to these
folders. This will really make your inbox more manageable.
If you still need help to do this let me know.
kind regards,
Chris
