Outlook 2000 opens momentarily and closes

Outlook 2000 opens momentarily and closes again with no
error messages. Re-installed Outlook...still didn't work.
I ran SP4 and it still does it. I will re-install Office
and repair IE?
any ideas would be much appreciated
