Outlook 2000 "Out of Memory"

I am using Outlook 2000 on a Win2000 system. Outlook has always worked fine. I recently picked up a new client and anytime I try to reply or reply all to any message that he sent me I get a "Out of memory or system resources" error. I can create a new email and send it to him but I cannot reply to him emails. I have no trouble replying to other emails, it's just his. I have deleted his contact and re-created it (grasping for straws) and changed the International settings in Outlook options as specified in a Microsoft support post that I saw, but nothing helps.

Any suggestions?
