Outlook 2000 Passwords for email accounts

Outlook is no longer remembering my passwords for email
accounts. I have xp (home) and have installed office 2000
sr1. I don't want to log in everytime i access my email.

Is it not remembering password, or prompting you each time?? That is,
if you press OK, does the connecting finally work and you receive
email? It may take several attempts.

There is a difference in the resolution. The blank password
(forgotten) has a resolution. I haven't found a resolution for the
issue where its not actually forgotten yet.
