Outlook 2000: Prior to use

Until restart PC was working OK. After restart (Win98SE) Outlook 2000
can't improt two pst files. When I try to import them Outlook says:

Properties for this information service must be defined prior to use. A
nakon toga javi: Errors have been detected in the file C:\Windows\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\mailbox.pst. Quit all
mail-enabled applications, and then use Inbox Repair Tool.

I try repair with Inbox Reapir Tool with no success. On
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=258468 I found that problems is in
read-only atrribues, but these files never been read-only.

After that I scaned HDD and try again with Inbox Repair Tools (with
Replace Log value) and everything finished OK. Again I try to import pst
files but on the end of process Outlook give me msgbox Could not
complete the operation. One of more parameter valaues are not valid.

Any idea what to do?

Why are you trying to import a native Outlook formatted file? Importing is
for translating a non-Outlook file to a format that Outlook can understand.

Use File=>Open->Outlook Data file. Ensure the file is on your hard drive
and its properties are not marked read-only. Once open in Outlook, use drag
and drop to consolidate the information into one .pst file and then close
the empty one.
