I posted this before & now it's disappeared. Anyway...
I just installed my Outlook 2000 on my new computer with
Windows XP & of course there are a few changes from when
I had Windows 2000. Fine, but, I am confused by the new
Send/Receive dialog window. Previously it would show how
many notes I was sending & receiving, now it just tells
me it's performing this task & leaves me to wonder if
it's 4 notes or 400! Do they think this isn't important
information? I also used to be able to hide that window
mid-receive & now it seems to be there until the task is
over or I cancel it. Are these things (the first of
which is certainly most important) that are options I can
choose somewhere & I'm just not seeing it, or did
Micorsoft overlook something really basic & important and
I need to wait for a new version or a patch for them to
come back to their senses. This is really & truly
annoying!!! I almost dread checking my mail now. Argh.
Any help out there?
Thanks,
Lisa
