I installed Outlook 2002 & Activesync 4.2 from the installation cd that came
with my Treo 750wx. Everything worked just like it should.

Yesterday, I installed the automatic updates from Microsoft. Now, I am
receiveing warning messages from Outlook saying that a third party is trying
ta access my address book. I am given the choice of alowing or denying
access and a time limit if I choose to allow.

The updates installed yesterday were:
Office XP Service Pack 3
Security Update for Office XP (KB920821)
Security Update for Outlook 2002 (KB905649)
Security Update for SharePoint Team Services (KB911701)
Update for Office XP (KB913471)
Security Update for Office XP (KB923273)
Security Update for Outlook 2002 (KB921594)
Security Update for Office XP (KB914796)
Office XP Update: KB837253
Office XP Update: KB833858
Security Update for Office XP: WordPerfect 5.x Converter (KB873379)

I am running Windows XP Pro, Service Pack 2

What add-ins do you have installed? A known add-in to cause this is the
Adobe Acrobat toolbar. Disable Adobe its integration with Outlook/Office and
try again.
