Outlook 2002 Attachments removal

Hi does anyone know how to stop outlook from removing
attachments from email either sent or received? Common
files removed are exe and bat files but lately my doc
files have been removed. I can't receive doc files
either. If you have any information please let me know at
(e-mail address removed)
