Outlook 2002 polling servers when checking properties

We have an issue that is isolated to Outlook 2002 (does
not exist with 2000 or beta 2003). When right clicking on
a public folder in OL 2002 and selecting properties, it
seems that every Exchange server in our organization is
polled before the Properties window appears.

Does anyone have a fix for this?
