Outlook 2002 quits after launch

Hi,

I have a problem with Outlook XP when I start Outlook XP with a new user
profile (windows profile not Outlook profile) email works fine send /
receive no problems at all. Once the pc is rebooted and logged on when you
launch Outlook it either quits with no error messages or if it opens and you
go to send an email it quits with no error messages. If you recreate the
profile again the cycle restarts.

With Outlook 2000 installed the cycle is the same but you get an error
message from the MS assistant stating "the operation could not be completed
because of an error on the network. Try to log on to the network again, and
the repeat the operation."

I am planning to reinstall Windows XP next but thought someone might know
why this is happening?
