Ok, this is a tricky problem and I will try to explain it. I have a user
that when he tries to send a webpage (from within internet explorer he goes
to file, send page by email) it fails. It used to work a couple of months
ago but now it does not, some windows updates may have been done to the
computer. I have edited the registry to allow .htm files to be recieved. It
is not being blocked it just sort of freezes when you hit send. If you close
the email you are composing it asks you if you want to save a draft. If you
select yet it saves a draft of the email (with the webpage embedded) . You
can then open this email up and send it with no problem. We are using
microsoft exchange 2000 however I do not think it is an exchange issue as I
have no problem sending web pages via email. I have tried creating a new
profile to see if the old profile had somehow gotten corrupt and no luck.
Any ideas or advice would be welcome, also if you need clarification do not
hesitate to ask and I will try to explain it. I had a hard time
understanding the problem until I went there and asked him to show me.
