outlook 2003 closes but still remains in tray

outlook 2003 will close fine but still remains in the systray and i have to
cntrl-alt-del and end it that way to close it... anyone else experiaence
this and have a fix?

do you have activesync or winfax 10 installed? (more or less you have a 3rd
party application installed that sync's utilizes outlook data and it isn't
catching the shutdown event. happens for me all the time with activesync
3.71 and i leave the pda in the craddle at time of shutdown.)
