[outlook 2003] Do not deliver before

Hello,

When I select the option Do not deliver before [date] my message stays in
the outbox and will be send only when I leave Outlook open.
But I want to close outlook when I go home and the message still needs to be
send.

Is there any option to send the mail later and close Outlook?

Thanks !

This is a client feature say the gurus in the exchange server groups.

No. You'd need to connect to an Exchange Server to do that.

I only won't work with an Exchange account and Outlook closed if you are
using cached mode. It will work if Outlook is in Online mode, the dealyed
delivery is set and then Outlook is closed.

Refer here:
"An e-mail message may not be delivered at the scheduled time when you
enable the "Do not deliver before" option in an Outlook 2003 message"
