I have Outlook configured to connect to a IMAP server for
mail and an Exchange Server for calendar/scheduling. The
original install was done using the Custom Install
Wizard. It has been running fine for a while but this
morning when I tried to open it I got an error message.
Basically what happend is this:
Clicked the icon to launch and got the initial Oultook
screen with the login box for the Exchange server (the
login to IMAP is automatic). Logged in and after a few
seconds the Outlook window disappeared and then I got the
following error screen.
Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the
Outlook window. The set of folders could not be opened.
I have carried out the supposed 'fix' from the support
web site but without any joy. I can by deleting the
Exchange account get into my mail so it would seem that
something has corrupted the Exchange part of Outlook. I
have done an uninstall and reinstall without any luck.
Any suggestions as to a fix?
