Outlook 2003 Frozen

When I open Outlook 2003, it freezes. I have to cancel it and restart. Cannot get past it. Tried uninstalling, and reinstalling. Tried deleting PST file, and recreating blank PST. Nothing helps. Appears to freeze trying to connect with server at my cable service. Reviewed my account, and nothing wrong

other computers on same modem and router have no problem

Has anyone seen this or fixed this? Microsoft is no help. Stuck without access.

Does it open if you start Outlook with the /safe switch, to do this go to
Start > Run > type "outlook /safe" without the quotes
