Outlook 2003 junk mail filter - run on inbox or other folder?

i have fallen in love with the Outlook 2003 junk mail filter. however
i made the mistake of not turning it on for a long time. the result is
that i have about 2,000 messages in my inbox most of which are junk.
is there any way to have Outlook run the junk mail filter on what is
already in my inbox?

thanks,

v.

If you're using an Exchange Mailbox as your primary data store (and just
sync'ing locally) and your server is up to date you could just delete the
.OST file on your workstation and have the Server re-sync with the junk
filter already turned on. I've done that for a few folks and that will
grab a lot of that spam.

unfortunately i am not using an Exchange mailbox. i am just using
Outlook 2003 with a regular POP3 email account and all messages have
been downloaded into Outlook.

Ah, well in that case I don't think there's much you can do. :-(
