Been using Outlook 2002 for a long time without issue. Well without major
issue. If al I want to do is read e-mail then it works. Recently updated to
Outlook 2003 due to the new user interface style. Much better use of real
estate for someone like me who works from a laptop a lot. Problem is that
Outlook 2003 has been nothing but trouble since I took my laptop on the road
and access my exchange server through a VPN. For starters Send/Recv all
synchronizes *nothing* instead of everything, and dismissing a reminder
usually results in an "Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to be
shut down" message. Next time I start Outlook I get a notification balloon
saying the message service cannot be started.
I've been on the road for just a few days; I'd really like to be able to
read my e-mail at some stage. I've pinged my IT people about it, and hey
there might be an e-mail from them about how to fix the issues, but I can't
flaming read it!!!
What's the deal with Outlook 2003?

Wayne.
