OUTLOOK 2003 ( reverting back to OUTLOOK 2002)

I've just found out I cant use WORD 2002 as my email
editor in OUTLOOK 2003.
Shame nobody told me before hand... All the documentation
I ever read just says "You can use WORD" as your email
editor.
c'Mon Microsoft! How can you do this!

Question is:

Now i've converted my Outlook 2002 to 2003 (with the
new .pst format) how do I revert back without loosing
anything?

You can only use Word as e-maileditor when Outlook and Word are the same
version.

For the pst-file;
Use File-> Import and Export... to export to a pst-file and select to use an
Outlook 97-2002 Data File

Outlook 2003 does not provide that option in the Export dialog. User would
have to use the New > PST command to get that dialog, then drag and drop
from the 2003 PST into the older version PST.

Good thing you mentioned that. I assumed you would be prompted when you
created a new Data File (just like in File-> New). I wasn't able to verify
it as I'm on "old" Outlook 2002 at the moment :-S

Yeah, I was surprised they left it off as well. I think this will be a
gotcha for users trying to revert.
