Outlook 2003-Shared Private Folders

Need help on sharing a private folder in Outllook 2003 running on an Exchange 2003 Server. I have granted Reviewer permission on the root Mailbox.
I have also granted delegate permission as stated in earlier posts. But how does that person see that shared private folder?

There is no way to Open it via File > Open > Other User's folder, since under Folder Type - folders are not listed. If They open the Inbox the shared
private folder is not visible.

A previous post mentions: "The user who needs access then goes into Tools | Services, brings up th
properties for the Exchange Server service, and on the Advanced tab, adds the mailbox."

BUT the Services is not listed under Tools, nor Options, I am unable to find this in Outlook 2003.

So how does the user access the shared private folder of another user who has given them permissions at both the root mailbox and the folder level?

Thanks in advance for any help

To access a shared folder that isn't one of the folders listed on the File |
Open | Other User's Folder dialog, the mailbox owner needs to grant Reviewer
permission to the root of the mailbox, as well as appropriate permission on
the folder, as you've already done

The user who needs access then goes into Tools | Email Accounts, brings up
the properties for the Exchange Server service, and on the Advanced tab,
adds the mailbox.

After that, the user will see in the folder list all those folders in the
secondary mailbox to which he/she has access and can add any of those
folders to the Outlook Bar. See

Sue,
I have added the email box on the Advanced Tab on the user
who needs access and now the folder list on the secondary
mailbox contains ALL the folders for that user's mailbox
even though I only set up one folder to be shared. ????

Any ideas of what I might have to check now?

Thank you,
Mary

Ignore the previous post - It was an Administrator acct that sees all the folders in
the mailbox. The normal domain user account users only see the shared folder.

Thanks again
Mary
