Outlook 2003 will not start at Outlook Today

I've checked the box on the Outlook Today customize screen for Outlook Today
to start on launching Outlook and saved changes but it still opens at Inbox.
Any fixes?

I am not sure right off but save the changes and exit Outlook. Then go back it to see if it is indeed still checked.

Also make sure all the updates are installed.
