Outlook 2003

Stephan

I'm new to this group so not sure if this question has
been answered.
Currently using Outlook '02 and wondering is the
Outlook '03 worth the extra effort and $ ? One thing
attractive is the spam blocking in '03. Does it do an
adequate job?

Thanks.

Personally, I think the SPAM blocking is great. It captures about 90% of my
spam. Of course, your mileage may vary depending on the type and amount of
spam you get. You might look on the Microosft site to take a tour of Office
2003 before you buy. Or you can order an evaluation version of Office 2003
and try it for yourself before you spend the money.

Thanks for the reply, Patricia. I currently have Office
XP but am not interested in upgrading the whole suite -
just Outlook for about $99.00. Still worth it?

What you don't get there are any advantages to using Word as your email
editor. Personally I think so, but I'd really suggest getting the eval
version and just installing Outlook to test before you buy.
