Outlook 2003

Just installed Outlook 2003 and have a few problems:
1. When putting a new calendar item and trying to select the time I have
to type it in...the down arrow selection disappears when I try to select
from it.
2. Added holidays to my calendar and they appear with a clock at the
beginning and end. How do I get rid of the clock symbol?

Any help greatly appreciated. thank you.

First thing, you want to close Outlook, then search for and rename "frmcache.dat". Restarting Outlook will
recreate this file. Then check your calendar functionality.
If this does not work, then you may want to make sure your personal folder file is no corrupt - You will need
to create a new .pst file to see if the issue still occurs. If not, then import your old .pst date into the new .pst
file.
