Hi,

I have an Exchange Server 2003 SE server and mostly Outlook 2003 clients. I
recently bought two new machines and they came with Outlook 2007. I noticed
on the one that he was experiencing sporadic bounce backs. The NDR was as
follows:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: RE: Order Confirmation

Sent: 29/10/2007 15:47

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

'(e-mail address removed)' on 29/10/2007 15:47

This message could not be sent. Try sending the message again later, or
contact your network administrator. You do not have sufficient permission to
perform this operation on this object. See the folder contact or your system
administrator. Error is [0x80070005-0x80070005-0x000508].

I have seen on a couple of forums that this can be resolved by simply giving
full permission on "This Object and All Child Objects" to the Everyone group
for my exchange org (Config Container>AD Domain>Services>Ms Exchange>Org
Name), and then removing the permissions. This seemed to fix the problem.
But now I have seen it happening on the second Outlook client. I have
redone the permissions thing and the problem SEEMS to be solved again, but
do I am not sure. Is it just gone temporarily is do I have to do this each
time I add a new Outlook 2007 client to the network.

Also, when you open the NDR the sent message is deleted from Sent Items!
Annoying!!!!!

TIA

Jarryd
