Outlook 2007 Calendar edits

I have one user with an issue with Outlook 2007: when he edits an
event or appointment on his personal calendar and then does a save and
close, Outlook posts the edited item as a recurring event. I've found
nothing to help fix this ... anyone offer any insight?
