When using Outlook 2007, I can see the emails in the pane to the right just
fine and I can open the attachments within the email.
However, when I try to double click or right click and choose open on the
email in the left pane, it crashes saying it has encountered an unknown error
and forces me to close and restart Outlook.
I am wondering if it is a conflict with another program because not all
users in the company have this issue.
It is not a new install, but an upgrade over Office 2003.
I did all the critical updates for WinXP SP2, then installed the file
"Fileformatconverters.exe" which is the Microsoft Compatibility Pack found on
Microsofts download website.
Any clues?
