Outlook 2007 won't recognize my archive.pst file as personal fil

When I try to archive my Outlook.pst file Outlook 2007 will not recognize my
archive.pst file as a personal folders file. I can't import data from the
archive.pst file either. Windows XP Pro thinks the archive.pst file is a
personal folders file.

Help.
